Shannon Scotto (Putnam Valley/Lakeland) and junior third baseman
Katie Stork (Massapequa) have been named to the 2026 Division III Softball Academic All-District team for District 3. Scotto earned the honor for the third straight year, and Pendergast is a repeat selection from last spring.
The all-district teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. Recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain requirements in terms of contests competed in and athletic accomplishments.
Endieveri is a sport management major with a 3.52 overall GPA prior to the spring semester. She pitched in 25 games this season, 23 as a starter, and finished with a 12-9 record, two saves, three shutouts, a 3.06 ERA and 97 strikeouts in 105 and a third innings pitched.
Pendergast is an adolescence education: biology major with a 3.64 overall GPA entering the spring. She started 34 games this season and batted .281 with a homer, six doubles, 21 RBI, 16 walks, 22 runs scored and six steals.
Pusloskie is an early childhood and childhood education major who entered the spring semester with a 3.86 overall GPA. She played in 40 games, 38 as a starter ,and batted .304 with three doubles, 10 RBI, 18 runs scored and seven steals.
Scotto is a physical education major with a 3.53 overall GPA prior to the spring semester. A starter in 40 games, she batted .285 with four doubles, 21 RBI, 16 runs scored and 10 walks.
Stork is an inclusive childhood education major with a 3.68 overall GPA prior to the spring. She played in 42 games, 41 as a starter, and hit .317 with 10 doubles, four triples, 14 RBI, 26 runs, 10 walks and seven steals.
Cortland finished the season with a 27-17 record to reach the 20-win plateau for the 29th straight full season. Cortland finished second in the SUNYAC regular season with a 13-5 league record and won the conference postseason tournament to earn its second straight NCAA berth. The Red Dragons finished second with a 2-2 record at a four-team regional hosted by Moravian University to tie for 17th place nationally.
