Cheyenne McPeek, Reilly Quinn and Isaiah Brunache Named SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week

Junior women's outdoor track and field thrower Cheyenne McPeek (Johnson City), senior women's outdoor track and field high jumper Reilly Quinn (Morrisonville/Beekmantown) and senior men's outdoor track and field thrower Isaiah Brunache (Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union) have been named the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending May 24.

Cheyenne McPeek

Cheyenne earned first-team All-America honors with a sixth-place national finish in the hammer throw at the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She set a school record in the event with her opening toss of 54.68 meters (179' 5").

Reilly Quinn

Reilly tied for seventh place nationally in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn first-team All-America recognition. She cleared each of her first three heights on the opening attempt, capped by a height of 1.67 meters (5' 5.75").

Isaiah Brunache

Isaiah earned first-team All-America honors in the discus at the NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He placed eighth in the event with a throw of 49.99 meters (164' 0"), and he concluded his Cortland career as a seven-time All-American (outdoors shot put twice, indoors shot put twice, indoors weight throw twice, outdoors discus once).
