Women's lacrosse attack Sydney Elizalde (Ronkonkoma/Connetquot) has been named the 2025-26 SUNY Cortland C-Club Women's Sports Rookie of the Year.

The finalists for Cortland's Rookie and Senior Athletes of the Year were announced in early May, but the winners were not chosen until the entire spring season was completed. The Women's Senior Athlete of the Year will be announced on Thursday and the Men's Senior Athlete of the Year will be announced on Friday. The Men's Rookie of the Year, baseball's Anthony Carlo, was announced Tuesday.
