Eleven Cortland football players have been named to the Empire 8 conference's President's List for academic achievement for the 2026 spring semester.

Recipients of the President's List honor have to earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average during a semester. In addition, the winners must display positive conduct on and off campus.

The honorees were:

Shane Reilly (Lake Grove/Sachem North), So.
Mike Rescigno (Arlington), So.
** Ian Schneeberger (Rochester/Eastridge), So.
Kevin Whalen (Montrose/Hendrick Hudson), Sr.
Jayson Zeva (East Northport/St. John the Baptist), Jr.

** Schneeberger joined the program in the spring of 2026
