Ten Red Dragons Named to 2026 USTFCCCA Track and Field All-Academic Team

Ten Cortland student-athletes have been selected to the 2026 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Track and Field All-Academic Team.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a converted 4.0 scale. They also have to had finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 35 in a relay event (limit one relay per school) on TFRRS.org.

In addition, the Cortland men's and women's track and field teams each earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors - the men with a 3.18 overall GPA and the women with a 3.30 overall GPA. Teams must have at least a 3.10 overall GPA to qualify.

Cortland's individual All-Academic Team honorees are:

MEN:

Isaiah Brunache (Sr., Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union) - Exercise Science, 3.91 GPA (also honored in 2023, 2024 and 2025)
indoor ranks: 2nd, weight throw; 8th, shot put (NCAA: 5th, weight throw, First Team All-American; 7th, shot put, First Team All-American)
outdoor ranks: 14th, shot put; 18th, discus; 29th, hammer throw (NCAA: 8th, discus, First Team All-American; 18th, shot put)

Evan Collette (Jr., Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) - Exercise Science, 3.94 GPA (also honored in 2024 and 2025)
indoor ranks: 18th, weight throw; 44th, shot put (NCAA: 7th, weight throw, First Team All-American)
outdoor rank: 9th, hammer throw (NCAA: 13th, hammer throw, Second Team All-American)

Aidan Garafola (Sr., Bayport/Bayport-Blue Point) - Physical Education, 3.54 GPA
indoor rank: 39th (25th based on one per school), 4x400-meter relay

Daniel Kahler (Fy., Centereach) - Physical Education, 3.50 GPA
outdoor rank: 25th, 4x400-meter relay

Manuel Sepulveda (Jr., East Rochester) - Physical Education, 3.61 GPA
indoor ranks: 3rd, triple jump; 32nd, long jump (NCAA: 8th, triple jump, First Team All-American)
outdoor rank: 7th, triple jump (NCAA: 12th, triple jump, Second Team All-American)

WOMEN:

Cheyenne McPeek (Jr., Johnson City) - Community Health, 3.38 GPA  (also honored in 2025)
outdoor rank: 21st, hammer throw (NCAA: 6th, hammer throw, First Team All-American)

Jennifer Ndukwu (Sr., Queens/Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School) - Inclusive Childhood Education, 3.67 GPA (also honored in 2024 and 2025)
indoor rank: 22nd ,weight throw
outdoor rank: 16th, hammer throw (NCAA: 20th, hammer throw)

Kelly Newman (So., Harrison) - Exercise Science, 3.88 GPA
indoor rank: 28th, DMR

Reilly Quinn (Sr., Morrisonville/Beekmantown) - Sport Management, 3.95 GPA
indoor ranks: 31st, high jump; 41st, long jump
