HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Cortland women's tennis team evened its dual record at 1-1 with a 7-0 non-league victory at Houghton University.
Cortland will host Farmingdale State Monday at 9 a.m.

Cortland began by winning all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the team scoring.
Reaghan Hughes and
Alexandra Thut posted a 6-0 win at second doubles.
Christina Massoni and
Gabriella Stanley won 6-3 first doubles, and
Anneli Adams and
Emma Morley earned a 6-3 win at third doubles.

The bottom half of Cortland's singles flights turned in convincing wins.
Gracie Guiliano was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at sixth singles, Thut won 6-1, 6-0 at fourth singles, and Adams was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at fifth singles.

Hughes was a 6-4, 6-4 victor at number three singles against Zoe Zachery, and Stanley won in three sets, 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 at second singles over Victoria Martinez. At first singles, Massoni and Houghton's Sage Brinckerhoff split the first two sets - Massoni winning 7-5 in the first and Brinckerhoff 6-2 in the second. With the team decision already decided, a super tiebreaker to 10 points was played in place of a full third set, and Massoni won that by a 10-7 score to claim the victory.
