2019: Avery finished 27th at the Fredonia Invitational and 28th at the ESF Mighty Oaks Invitational...Crossed the finish line in 130th place at the Hamilton Short Course Invitational, in 149th place at the Harry Anderson Invitational and in 192nd place at the Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational...Was 207th at the St. Lawrence Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational.

Prior to Cortland: Attended SUNY Broome...Member of the Dean's List and President's List...Earned all-conference honors in cross country...Competed in the NJCAA championships.

High School: Graduated from Owego Free Academy in 2017...Member of the National Honor Society...Received the Frank G. Paul Medal of Excellence and the Francis and Lillian Paul Merit Scholarship...Member of the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams.

Other: Brother Alex competed in cross country for two seasons at SUNY Broome.
