2022-23: Michael finished 12th in the weight throw (41' 11.25") at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships...Posted a personal-best 36' 1.5" in the shot put at the Utica Holiday Classic...Finished 11th in the discus (116' 5") and 13th in the hammer (121' 10") at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Recorded personal bests in the discus (125' 1") at the Cortland Classic and in the hammer (130' 11") at the Cortland Upstate Alternative.
High School: Graduated from Commack in 2022...Scholar Athlete...Two-year member of the track and field team...Earned all-league and all-county honors during the indoor and outdoor seasons as a senior...Team won indoor and outdoor county championships his senior year...Two-year member of the football team.
Other: Second cousin Marc Iavaroni played in the NBA for 13 seasons and was a starting member of the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers that won the NBA title.
