2024-25: Matthew was the SUNYAC champion and earned first team All-SUNYAC honors in one event, and garnered second team All-SUNYAC honors in one event at the conference championship meets...Qualified for the AARTFC Outdoor Championships in the 1,500 meters and placed 20th in the event at the regional meet...Finished first in the 1,500 meters at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 4:00.32...Placed second in the mile (4:18.32) and ninth in the 800 meters (2:02.48) at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships...Posted a personal-best time of 1:57.36 in the 800 to place fifth at the Marc Deneault Invitational...Recorded a personal-best time in the mile at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational...Posted a personal-best time of 3:58.93 in the 1,500 meters at The F.I.R.E. 2023-24: Matthew qualified for the AARTFC Outdoor Championships in the steeplechase and as a member of the 4x800 relay team, placing fourth in the 4x800 relay for all-region honors and 16th in the steeplechase...Placed sixth in the steeplechase (season-best 9:38.28) at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Earned third team All-SUNYAC honors as a member of the distance medley relay team that finished third at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships...Also finished eighth individually in the mile (season-best 4:21.17) at the conference indoor meet...Competed in 15 meets during the indoor and outdoor seasons for Cortland.

2022-23: Matthew was a member of the fifth-place DMR team at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships...posted a personal-best 4:32.01 in the mile at the Utica Holiday Classic...Finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:58.70) at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Posted personal bests inn the 1,500 meters (4:08.15), 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:51.71) and the 5,000 meters (15:45.71) during the outdoor season.

2021-22: Posted personal bests in the 800 meters (2:05.70) and the 3,000 meters (9:21.21) during the indoor season...Finished 12th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:49.31) at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Established personal-best times in the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.84), the 1,500 meters (4:21.60), the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:28.44) and the 5,000 meters (16:51.76) during the outdoor season.

High School: Graduated from William Floyd in 2021...Member of the honor roll...Four-year member of the track and field teams...Two-time team MVP...Earned all-league honors twice...Member of the school-record setting 4 x 400 relay...Team won a league title...Three-year member of the cross country team...Team MVP and earned second team all-league honors as a junior...Team MVP, garnered first team all-league and all-county honors and named all-county academic as a senior.
