2017-18: J.P. was named an NWCA Div. III Scholar All-American and to the ECWC All-Academic Team...Compiled a 20-5 record with five pins, two technical falls and three majors...Posted a 9-1 dual-match record...Placed sixth at the NCAA Div. III Regional with a 2-2 record...Finished sixth at the ECWC Championships with a 1-1 record...Captured the title at the King's Invitational with a 4-0 record...Went 4-1 to finish as the runner-up at the Springfield Invitational.

2016-17: Finished the season 9-10 with five pins and one major...Started his collegiate career with four straight pins and finished as the runner-up with a 4-1 record at the King’s Invitational...Competed at the NYS Championships...Went 2-2 at the York Invitational...Competed in the “C” pool at the Journeyman/ASICS Classic.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Huntington...Five-year member of the wrestling team...Team captain...Earned all-state honors once and all-county honors three times.

Other: Brother Lou is a Cortland graduate and was an All-America wrestler at Cortland...Cousin Joe Giaramita was an All-America wrestler and won a national title at Cortland and is the Red Dragons’ career wins leader.
