Connor Griffin begins his first year as a volunteer assistant coach on the Red Dragon baseball staff in 2018. Prior to Cortland, Griffin served as an assistant coach for the Cortland Crush of the New York Collegiate Baseball League.
Griffin also was a Championships Assistant for the Southern Conference and an intern with the America Baseball Coaches Association.
A four-year member of the Red Dragon baseball team as a second baseman, Griffin earned first team All-SUNYAC honors as a junior and was a member of Cortland’s first-ever Div. III national championship team that same year.
Griffin received a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2016. He was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and a SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award recipient as well as SUNY Cortland’s Robert J. Weber Award winner as a senior.
