Assistant Baseball Coach

Matt Michalski joined the Cortland coaching staff in 2020. He played third base for the Red Dragons from 2014-18, posting a career .292 batting average with 66 RBI in 152 games.

Michalski earned second team All-SUNYAC honors as the starting third baseman for the Red Dragons during their 2015 national championship season, batting .369 in 43 games. He was selected to the NCAA Division III World Series All-Tournament Team. Michalski also earned second team All-SUNYAC honors as a senior in 2018.
