2024: Melissa was named the SUNYAC Runner of the Year...Earned All-Niagara Region honors with a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Div. III Niagara Region Championships...Won the SUNYAC individual title and was a first team All-SUNYAC honoree by crossing the finish line in first place in a 6k time of 23:43.3 at the SUNYAC Championships...Won the Oswego Invitational with a season-best time in a 4k race of 15:47.3...Won the Oneonta Airfield Invitational with a 4k time of 15:53.5...Placed 12th at the Fisher-Rodenbeck Invite...Posted a season-best time in a 6k race of 22:24.7 to finish 27th at the Rowan Interregional Border Battle...Qualified for the NCAA Div. III Championship and placed 268th at the national championship meet...Competed 11 times during the season for the Red Dragons.

2023: Melissa finished 39th at the NCAA Div. III Niagara Region Championships and 19th at the SUNYAC Championships...Crossed the finish line in 16th at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational...Finished 29th at the Lehigh Paul Short Run...Crossed the finish line in 35th at the Rowan Interregional Border Battle...Finished 38th at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational and 64th at the Highlander Short Course XC Invitational.

High School: Melissa graduated from Valley Stream North in 2023...Member of the cross country team...Qualified for state meet...Six-year member of the track team...Earned all-conference and all-county honors and received the Sportsmanship Award, the President's Award and the Coaches Award as a senior.
