Kailynne Reinoehl begins her second season on the Cortland field hockey coaching staff in 2020 after a stellar four-year career as a goalie for the Red Dragons. She works with the team's goalies and assists with recruiting, game day and bus planning.
Reinoehl played and started in 78 games from 2015-18 and registered a career 1.03 goals-against average, .841 save percentage and 58-19 record with 23 shutouts. She finished her career ranked third at Cortland with 414 saves and tied for fourth in shutouts.
Reinoehl earned second team All-America honors during her junior season and was a four-time All-North Atlantic Region selection (first team in 2016 and 2017, second team in 2015 and 2018). She also earned first team All-SUNYAC honors four straight years, was the 2015 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year, and earned a spot on the 2018 SUNYAC all-tournament team. In addition, she was a first team All-ECAC North honoree as a sophomore and was chosen to compete in the 2018 NFHCA North-South Senior All-Star Game.
A native of Lititz, Pa., Reinoehl graduated from Warwick High School in 2015. She was an all-league goalie who set a school record for career saves, and her team finished as state runner-up during her freshman year. Reinoehl worked as a volunteer coach at Warwick during the summers of 2015 through 2018.
