The 2013 season is Lindsey Taylor's first as an assistant coach on the Cortland field hockey staff. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology from St. Lawrence University and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Cortland.

Taylor competed in field hockey and indoor and outdoor track and field for four seasons at St. Lawrence. As a member of the field hockey team, she earned all-league, all-state and all-region honors and was named to the Liberty League Field Hockey All-Academic Team and the NFCHA National Academic Squad. Taylor also was a member of the Liberty League Track and Field All-Academic Team and the New York State Collegiate Track Conference All-Academic Team. She was a nominee for the 2006-07 ECAC Robbins Scholar-Athlete Award.

A native of Rutland, Vt., Taylor competed in field hockey and indoor and outdoor track and field at Rutland High School.
