Tiffany Hubbard begins her sixth year as Cortland's field hockey head coach in 2021. She has a combined record of 61-18 (.772) with two SUNYAC regular-season titles and one conference tournament crown.
In 2017, Hubbard led Cortland to an 18-4 record, the SUNYAC regular-season crown with a 5-1 mark, and two shutout wins in the SUNYAC tournament. The Red Dragons also won their NCAA Division III tournament opening game versus Keene State, 4-1, before losing at The College of New Jersey, 2-1, in the second round to tie for ninth place nationally. Three of her players earned All-America honors and four were named all-region. Hubbard was tabbed as the SUNYAC Coach of the Year and six Red Dragons earned all-league awards, including both Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year recognition. In addition, six Cortland players were National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad recipients.
In her inaugural season with the Red Dragons in 2016, Hubbard guided the program to a 14-4 record and the SUNYAC regular-season title. The program featured one All-American, three all-region selections, five All-SUNYAC honorees, and seven NFHCA National Academic Squad award winners. In 2018, Cortland finished 13-6, advanced to the SUNYAC championship game, and boasted an All-American, three all-region players and five All-SUNYAC selections, including the Offensive Player of the Year, as well as 10 NFHCA Academic Squad honorees. In 2019, the Red Dragons went 16-4 before losing in double overtime in the SUNYAC championship game. That squad had three all-region selections, five All-SUNYAC honorees and nine NFHCA Academic Squad choices.
Hubbard came to Cortland after serving as the associate head coach of the field hockey program at Division I Ohio University. Prior to her position with the Bobcats, Hubbard was the field hockey head coach at Division I Georgetown University for seven seasons. The Hoyas received seven NFHCA National Academic Team Awards and placed 66 student-athletes on the NFHCA National Academic Squad during her tenure.
Hubbard earned bachelor’s degrees in business and criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland, where she compiled 102 points in 93 games. A three-time NFHCA second team All-Region selection, she helped lead the Terrapins to three NCAA Div. I Final Fours and the program’s fourth national title as a senior.

A native of Marathon, N.Y., Hubbard competed for the U.S. Under-19, Under-18 and Under-16 field hockey teams and also has been involved in the National Futures program.
Hubbard and her husband, Jay, reside in Endicott with their son, Joshua, and daughters, Joelle and Abigail.
