2017: Shannon was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad and received Div. III Scholars of Distinction honors...Co-recipient of the SUNYAC "Elite 20" Award presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the conference finals site...Played in and started 20 games...Member of a defense that allowed just 21 goals all season...Recorded an assist on Cortland's second goal in a 3-0 home win versus Geneseo in the SUNYAC Semifinals.

2016: Named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad...Started all 18 games...Scored six points on two goals and two assists...Tallied five points on two goals and two assists in a 9-1 win versus Elmira...Registered an assist in a 9-0 victory at Nazareth.

Prior to Cortland: Attended Dowling College...Member of the Dean's List...Played one season of field hockey.

High School: Graduated from Carle Place in 2015, where she was a member of the National Honor Society...Four-year starter in field hockey...Team captain as a junior and senior...Earned all-state honors as a senior...Three-time all-county selection...All-conference...Named first team All-Long Island...Team won Long Island title and was a state finalist her senior year...Team won back-to-back conference and county championships...Four-year member of the softball team, three as a starter.
