Dalton Maska joins the Cortland coaching staff in 2018 and will work with the team’s offensive line and tight ends. He served as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater, Alfred University, from 2015-17, during which time he coached offensive linemen who earned five All-Empire 8, three D3football.com All-East and two D3football.com All-America awards. The 2016 squad finished 12-1 and advanced to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals.
Maska earned his MBA from Alfred in 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the school in 2015. He played four seasons with the Saxons from 2011-14, the last two as a starter, and was a team captain during his senior year. A native of Lockport, N.Y., Maska graduated in 2011 from Starpoint High School, where he competed in football and track and field.
