Geige Dziados will coach Cortland’s wide receivers in 2015 after working with that position as a student assistant in 2014. Dziados also coached Cortland’s tight ends and was a defensive intern at Colgate University working with linebackers during the spring of 2015.
A native of Cicero, N.Y., Dziados was a wide receiver at Cortland for one season as well as playing stints at Monroe College and Onondaga Community College. He graduated from Cortland in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. Dziados is a 2011 alumnus of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, where he played both football and baseball. He was a scholar-athlete award winner in both sports, and he earned honorable mention all-league honors as a defensive back while receiving the team’s Most Improved Player award.
