Kevin Gorman enters his third season on Cortland’s staff in 2016 as the team’s linebackers coach. In 2015 he worked with a defensive unit that ranked fourth nationally with 17 fumbles recovered and 16th with 30 total turnovers gained.
Gorman graduated in 2014 from Juniata College, where he played four seasons at middle linebacker. He earned first-team All-Centennial Conference honors as a senior and was a second-team all-league choice in both his sophomore and junior years. Gorman led the Eagles in tackles each of those three seasons. A native of Waverly, N.Y., Gorman graduated from Waverly High School in 2010. He was a first-team all-state running back in 2009 and a first-team all-state linebacker in 2008. He also competed scholastically in basketball and baseball.
