Ola Adams re-joins the Cortland coaching staff in 2011 and will serve as the team’s defensive coordinator. He will also coach the Red Dragons’ defensive backs. Adams was an assistant coach at Cortland in 2009 and coached defensive backs at Division II Glenville State (W.V.) in 2010.
Adams graduated from Concord University (W.V.) in 2008 and served as a student coach at the school in the fall of 2008. Adams was a four-year starting free safety for the Division II Mountain Lions from 2004-07. He earned All-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) honors three times and was named All-Northeast Region twice. A native of Reston, Virginia, Adams lettered in football, basketball and track at South Lakes High School.
