Tre Williams joins the Cortland coaching staff in 2017. He’ll work with the team’s outside linebackers and will serve as a strength and conditioning coach for the program.
Williams was a four-year member of the football team at Division I University of New Hampshire from 2010-13. He saw action at numerous defensive positions, including nickel/hybrid defensive back, safety, and outside linebacker. He graduated from New Hampshire in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in animal behavior, and he pursued free agent playing opportunities in the CFL after his collegiate career.
Williams coached defensive backs and wide receivers at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse in 2016. A Syracuse native, Williams graduated from CBA in 2010. He competed in both football and track and field for the Brothers, and he earned both Section 3 Class AA all-star honors and first team All-Central New York recognition on the gridiron in his senior year.
