C.J. Hodge enters his second season on the Cortland coaching staff in 2015-16.
Hodge came to Cortland after a standout playing career at Hilbert College. He spent four seasons with the Hawks, all as a starter, and was team captain for two seasons. Hodge won Team Newcomer of the Year in 2010-11 and ended his career ranked second in career assists and first in career games played and started.

A Rochester, N.Y., native, Hodge graduated from Hilbert in 2014 and is a 2010 alumnus of Gates Chili High School, where he was a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. The football team captured a Section V title in 2009, and he was named to the all-county basketball team as well as team MVP in 2010.
