Maurice Kearney begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Red Dragons in 2015-16 after a four-year career with the Red Dragons.

Kearney played in 82 games, 51 as a starter, in his four seasons with Cortland. He was a two-time team captain, serving in the capacity as a sophomore and senior.

A native of Uniondale, N.Y., Kearney is scheduled to receive his bachelor’s degree in physical education from the College in May, 2014. He played three seasons of basketball and football at Uniondale High School.
