Mike Graney begins his second season as a Cortland assistant coach in 2019-20. He served as a student assistant coach with the program during his senior year in 2017-18 and previously was a Red Dragon team manager. He graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in sport management.

A native of Ticonderoga, N.Y., Graney is a 2014 alumnus of Ticonderoga High School. He played three seasons of football, basketball and baseball for the Sentinels.
