Why Cortland:
I chose to attend Cortland for multiple reasons. The school population is small, and therefore so are the class sizes, making it easier to connect with professors, classmates or teaching assistants. As well as the biomedical program here at Cortland, I found it was an intriguing place that could present many future opportunities, and because the hockey program is trending in the right direction and has a lot of optimism for the future.
Player notes from Coach Cardarelli:
A quick puck moving defenseman who makes excellent decisions coming out of the defensive zone. His offensive ability will also be crucial to the team. DiMatteo brings a wealth of Ontario Junior Hockey League experience, including a league championship and Dudley-Hewitt Cup experience.
