Biography

2025: Alex was chosen as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Div. III Short-Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year...Named an All-American by three different organizations; to the first team by USILA and the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA), and to the third team by USA Lacrosse Magazine...First team IMLCA All-Region 2 selection...Repeated as a first team All-SUNYAC honoree...Played in and started 21 games during the season for Cortland...Finished with four points on three goals and one assist, and added 65 ground balls and a team-high 33 caused turnovers...Member of the Cortland defense that was first in the nation in caused turnovers per game (14.23) and sixth in the nation in scoring defense (7.68 goals allowed per game)...Registered at least one ground ball in 18-of-21 games and at least one caused turnover in 15-of-21 contests...Recorded a season-high six caused turnovers and scooped up four ground balls in a road win at Skidmore...Finished with three caused turnovers and six ground balls against RIT...Had three caused turnovers and five ground balls in a road win at Nazareth...Finished with two caused turnovers and six ground balls in a road win at Oswego...Chipped in two caused turnovers and five ground balls in a home win over New Paltz...Scored a goal and added five ground balls and one caused turnover in a home win over Oneonta...Tallied a goal, two caused turnovers, and two ground balls in a win over Potsdam in the SUNYAC Semifinals...Provided an assist and four ground balls in a win over Morrisville...Tallied two caused turnovers and four ground balls in a win over Illinois Wesleyan in the second round of the NCAA Div.
