Nathan Caldwell begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Cortland men's lacrosse team in 2022-23. Prior to Cortland, Caldwell served as an assistant coach at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he primarily worked with the goalkeepers and faceoff specialists and was the team's film coordinator. He also has coached U10, U12, U14 and high school youth travel teams.
Caldwell earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science as well as his master's degree in business administration/sport management from Lincoln Memorial University. A five-year member of the lacrosse team as a close defenseman, Caldwell was a three-time team captain for the Railsplitters and was twice named to the Dean's List and earned the Abe's Excellence Award while at Lincoln Memorial.
