Tim Spillett begins his second season as an assistant coach for the Cortland men’s lacrosse program in 2013 after serving as an assistant coach for the boys’ varsity team at West Genesee High School. While at West Genesee, Spillett helped lead the Wildcats to a sectional title and a state semifinal appearance.

Spillett, a 2009 graduate of Le Moyne College, played in three Division II national championship games with the Dolphins, winning a title in 2007.

Spillett graduated from West Genesee, where he won two Class A state titles. As a senior, he led the team in scoring and was named the state championship game MVP as the Wildcats won by a state-record margin of 13 goals in a 15-2 victory.
