The 2022-23 season is TJ Bardsley's first as an assistant coach on the Cortland men's lacrosse team. Previously, Bardsley served as the head coach of the men's lacrosse team at Thiel College from 2017-22. During his tenure, 20 players earned all-conference accolades, the team set a program record for most goals in a game and qualified for the Presidents' Athletic Conference playoffs during the 2021 season.
Prior to Thiel, Bardsley was a two-year graduate assistant coach at Alfred University, helping guide the team to a 23-9 overall record in his two seasons.
Bardsley earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Siena College, where he was a four-year member of the Div. I Saints' men's lacrosse team. He went on to receive his master's degree in business administration from Alfred.
