The 2008 season is Chris Riley’s fourth as an assistant coach on the Cortland men’s soccer staff. He is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL Second Division and also played professionally for the Charleston Battery of the First Division and the Western Mass Pioneers and the Wilmington Hammerheads of the Second Division.
Riley was a two-time all-conference midfielder at Herkimer Community College, where he earned his associate’s degree. He continued his collegiate career at Wright State, playing in the midfield for two seasons. Riley was named to the Dayton Classic and Horizon League All-Tournament teams.
A native of Endicott, Riley is a 2001 graduate of Union-Endicott, where he was an all-state selection in soccer. Riley currently resides in Endicott.
