Matthew Schindler enters his second season on the SUNY Cortland men’s soccer staff in 2019. Schindler is currently a youth coach for teams ranging from four to 20 years old. He is a coach for Cortland County Select during the time at Cortland and a coach for the Football Club of New York (FCNY) playing out of HBC while at home on Long Island.
Schindler, a native of Melville, Long Island, is in his last year of his undergraduate degree in exercise science, looking to continue his education to receive a master's degree in occupational therapy. He graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 2016 and won a state championship with the soccer team during his senior year.
