Tom Quinn has been associated with the Cortland men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams since the early 1980s. In that time, Quinn has coached a pair of national champions and his divers have earned more than 50 All-America honors under his supervision.
In the 1990s, Quinn was a member of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Swimming Committee and was vice chair of the NCAA Diving Subcommittee.
Quinn earned his bachelor’s degree from Cortland in 1981 and his master’s degree in recreation from Southern Mississippi in 1982. He later attained his doctorate in outdoor education at Ohio State and is currently assistant professor of physical education at Cortland.
