Brianna Ferchen enters her second season on the Cortland coaching staff in 2018. Currently a graduate student at Cortland, Ferchen works with the team's outfielders.
Ferchen is a 2015 graduate of The College at Brockport and was a standout outfielder for the Golden Eagles for four seasons. She earned All-SUNYAC honors in both her sophomore and junior seasons and finished with a .338 career batting average. Ferchen broke the school single-season stolen base mark with 20 steals as a sophomore, then broke that record again as a senior with 25 swipes and finished as Brockport's career leader with 71 steals.
A native of Oneonta, N.Y., Ferchen competed in softball, volleyball and indoor track at Oneonta High School. She graduated in 2011. Ferchen's father, Rick, is the head baseball coach at Keuka College.
