Jamie Lachall begins her fifth season on the Cortland coaching staff in 2022, and her fourth as the team's pitching coach, after a standout career as a Red Dragon pitcher. Lachall earned SUNYAC Pitcher of the Year honors as a senior in 2017 and was the league's Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2015, and she was a two-time all-region and All-ECAC selection. She was selected to the SUNYAC's 2010-19 Softball All-Decade Team in the fall of 2020.

Lachall finished her four-year career at Cortland with a 42-18 record, three saves, a 2.16 ERA, 31 complete games, five shutouts and 173 strikeouts in 93 appearances. She ranks in the top 10 in school history in wins, appearances and innings pitched. Lachall was the winning pitcher in both the 2015 and 2016 SUNYAC tournament championship games.

Lachall graduated from Cortland in May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in speech and hearing science and is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport management from the College.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Lachall graduated from Sun Valley High School in 2013. She was a four-year starter in softball and a three-time second team All-Delco selection, and she earned first team All-Ches-Mont honors twice.
