Taylor Policay joined the Cortland coaching staff for the 2018 season and works with the team's hitters. She served as an assistant coach at Wells College during the 2016-17 school year.
Policay graduated from Cortland in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and earned an associate's degree in sport management from Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) in 2014. She played two seasons of softball at TC3, where she earned Mid State Athletic Conference all-conference honors as a first baseman in 2013 and received a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement in 2014. She also played basketball for one season.
Policay is a native of Lansing, N.Y., and graduated in 2012 from Lansing High School, where she lettered in softball and basketball.
