2024-25: Makiah garnered first team All-SUNYAC honors in two events and second team All-SUNYAC honors in one event at the SUNYAC-AMCC Championships...Set the school record and was the top SUNYAC finisher, and second overall, with a time of 1:53.89 in the finals of the 200 IM...Led off the 400 medley relay that was the top SUNYAC finisher, and second overall, at the combined conference championship meet...Was the second-fastest SUNYAC finisher, and third overall, with a personal-best time of 2:07.15 in the finals of the 200-yard breaststroke...Placed sixth in the finals of the 100 back with a personal-best time of 51.73 seconds...Part of the 200 medley relay team that posted the eighth-fastest time...Competed at 11 meets during the season for Cortland.

2023-24: Makiah was a third team All-SUNYAC selection, swimming the opening leg for the 200 medley relay that finished third at the SUNYAC Championships...Finished sixth in the 200 breast (season-best 2:10.63 in the finals), seventh in the 100 back (season-best 52.62 seconds in the prelims), and 10th in the 200 IM (season-best time of 1:58.28 in the finals) at the conference meet...Swam in 12 meets for Cortland during the season.

2022-23: Makiah earned second team All-SUNYAC honors...Placed fourth in the 100 back (personal-best 52.44) and the 200 breast (personal-best 2:08.35) and sixth in the 200 IM (personal-best 1:57.16) at the SUNYAC Championships...Member of the second-place 200 medley and 400 medley relays at the conference meet.

2021-22: Earned first team All-SUNYAC honors...Placed third in the 100 back (personal-best 53.34) and finished seventh in the 400 IM (4:25.57, personal-best 4:21.04 preliminaries) and 10th in the 200 IM (personal-best 1:58.14) at the SUNYAC Championships...Member of the winning 200 medley relay at the conference meet.
