Devlen Williams joined the Cortland coaching staff in the fall of 2023. His primary responsibilities with the program include conducting practices with the sprints and horizontal jumps groups, and as the primary recruiter for the sprints, horizontal jumps, and hurdles.

Williams earned an associate degree from Onondaga Community College in 2016, followed by a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from SUNY Cortland in 2019. The Red Dragon record-holder in the men’s long jump, Williams was an NCAA competitor at both the indoor and outdoor championships in the long jump, a multiple-time individual SUNYAC champion in the long jump, the 2018 AARTFC champion in the long jump, and a member of the 2017 SUNYAC championship-winning squad. Prior to Cortland, Williams was the 2016 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Champion in the long jump.

A native of Syracuse, Williams graduated from Thomas J. Corcoran High School in 2013.
