Jen Taft joins the Cortland coaching staff in 2010-11. Prior to Cortland, Taft served as an assistant coach for the Seton Catholic Central School cross country and track programs in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
Taft, who graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, was a member of the Cardinals’ cross country and track teams. She was an ECAC qualifier in the steeplechase and competed in the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. The Cardinals placed second as a team in 2007.
Taft is currently pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science at Cortland.
