Joe Keleher begins his first season as an assistant coach after a four-year career with the Red Dragons. Keleher, who is pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science at the College, will work with the Red Dragon pole vaulters and hurdlers and also assist with team conditioning.
During his career at Cortland, Keleher earned first and second team All-SUNYAC honors. He captured the 55-meter hurdles at the 2009 and 2010 SUNYAC Indoor Championships and won the 110-meter hurdle title at the 2010 SUNYAC Outdoor Championships. He also scored in the pole vault at numerous conference meets and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III championship meet in both the 55-meter hurdles and the pole vault.
