Veronica Montrose enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Cortland track and field program in 2012-13. Montrose, who received a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the College, was a four-year member of the Red Dragon track and field program.
Montrose earned All-ECAC honors three times in relay events during her career at Cortland, including winning a title in the 4 x 100 relay at the 2011 ECAC Div. III Outdoor Championships. She also was a member of three winning relay teams at the SUNYAC Championships.
A native of Clintondale, N.Y., Montrose graduated from Clinton High, where she competed in track and field and soccer.
