2022-23: Erek finished ninth in the javelin (147' 0") at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships...Posted a personal-best 170' 6") in the javelin at the Cortland Classic.

High School: Graduated from Fairport in 2022...Received the Fairport Booster Club Football Scholarship...Competed in track and field for one year...Placed fourth in the discus at the sectional meet and qualified for state meet...Two-year member of the football team...Played one year of lacrosse.
