Prior to Cortland: Jakob attended Mansfield University and Broome Community College...Member of the cross country team and outdoor track and field at Broome...Earned second team All-America honors in cross country...Finished seventh in the 1,500 meters at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships.

High School: A 2019 graduate of Windsor...Member of the National Honor Society...Member of the cross country and track and field teams.
