The 2017-18 season is Lindsey Minor’s third as an assistant coach with the Cortland women’s basketball team after a four-year playing career with the Red Dragons.
Minor played in 100 career games for Cortland, including 79 starts, and scored 457 points. She also grabbed 297 rebounds, handed out 224 assists and registered 162 steals. A three-time team captain, Minor started every game her last three seasons and led the team in assists as a junior and senior and steals in her final season.
A native of Wheatley Heights, N.Y., Minor graduated from St. John the Baptist in 2011, where she started three years on the basketball team and helped lead her squad to a Long Island Catholic School title as a junior.
Minor, who also serves as an AAU coach for the CNY Heat, received a bachelor’s degree in inclusive special education and a master’s degree in teaching students with disabilities 1-6 from Cortland.
