Biography

2024-25: Joleen was a second team All-SUNYAC honoree...Named to the Div. III Women's Basketball Academic All-District team by College Sports Communicators...Played in and started all 29 games, averaging 21.7 minutes per contest...Recorded 10.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, and added 33 blocks and 29 steals...Was the leading rebounder and third-leading scorer on the team...Scored in double figures 17 times during the season and registered five double-doubles...Had a season-high 24 points and added 10 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks at Rochester...Tallied 19 points on 9-of-16 (56.3%) from the floor and grabbed six boards in a home win over Plattsburgh...Recorded an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in a home win over Buffalo State...Posted a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double in a home win over Potsdam...Scored 16 points and added 13 rebounds and three assists in a home win over Oswego...Finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a home win over New Paltz...Provided 12 points and nine rebounds in a win over Endicott in the first round of the NCAA Div. III playoffs...Scored 12 points against Bowdoin in the second round of the NCAA Div. III playoffs...Had six points, nine rebounds, and three blocks in a win over Canton in the SUNYAC Semifinals...Was selected as the SUNYAC Athlete of the Week two times during the season, on Dec. 10 and Jan. 7. 

Prior to Cortland: Attended St. John Fisher...Was named to the USBWA Rochester Area NCAA DII-III Team and selected as the Freshman of the Year...Named to the D3hoops.com all-region second team and honored as the Region III Rookie of the Year...First team All-Empire 8 and conference's co-rookie of the year...Averaged 13.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and 1.7 assists per game...Team won Empire 8 conference title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Div. III playoffs.

High School: Graduated from Cherry Valley-Springfield in 2023...Class Valedictorian...Four-year starter in basketball…Named Female Athlete of the Year in 2021-22…Named Class D All-State First Team in basketball 2022-23…Member of Tri-Valley League championship basketball team in 2022-23…Led team in points (20.7 per game) in 2022-23, rebounds (19.3 per game) in 2021-22, and blocks (6.2 per game) in 2021-22.
