Kristen Aston-Reese joins the Cortland coaching staff in 2011-12. A native of Staten Island, Aston-Reese competed for the Red Dragons on balance beam and floor exercise during both the 2007-08 and 2009-10 seasons.
Aston-Reese graduated from Cortland in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health. A 2007 alumna of Curtis High School, she won a state Level 7 WCGA all-around title, was a Level 8 state and regional qualifier and a Level 9 state qualifier. She also was a four-year starting defender for the Curtis soccer team.
