Morgan Beikirch enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Cortland women’s ice hockey team in 2010-11. Beikirch most recently served as an intern coach at the USA Hockey National Girls’ Select Festival in August and as a coach with the Rochester Edge girls’ 16U travel team in 2009-10.
Beikirch played four seasons on the women’s ice hockey team and women’s golf team at Robert Morris University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She twice led the Colonials in scoring in hockey and received a National Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar Award.
A native of Livonia, N.Y., Beikirch competed in soccer and boys’ golf at Livonia High School.
