Samantha Fallon joined the Cortland women's ice hockey coaching staff in the 2018-19 season.

From January 2017 to May 2018 Fallon served as the head coach for the Adrian College Division 2 American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) women's hockey club team and as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs' Division 1 ACHA program.

Her Division 2 squad at Adrian finished 16-4, won the Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association (CCWHA) regular-season title and competed in the ACHA D2 national championship tournament. As an assistant for the D1 team, she helped recruit from scratch the entire team that went 27-3-1, won the CCWHA title and finished as ACHA national runner-up in its inaugural season in 2017-18.

Fallon is a 2016 alumna of UMass Boston, where she lettered in ice hockey for four seasons and soccer for one year. She was one of the Beacons' first New England Hockey Writers Association (NEHWA) all-stars and was a second-team All-ECAC East forward during her sophomore year after leading the team with 16 goals and 19 total points. In her one season as a soccer midfielder she played in 13 games for a squad that went 18-3 and won its first Little East Conference title.

A native of Pembroke, Mass., Fallon graduated from Williston Northampton in 2012. She competed in ice hockey, field hockey, lacrosse, rowing and softball throughout her scholastic athletic career.
