Dana Anderson joins the Cortland women’s lacrosse coaching staff in 2017 after a four-year playing career as a defender at Div. II Le Moyne College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. Prior to Cortland, Anderson worked as a counselor at the West Genesee Girl’s Lacrosse Summer Camp from 2011-15. She also serves as a coach with the Orange Crush lacrosse travel team.
While with the Dolphins, Anderson was named to the IWLCA Div. II Sports Academic Honor Roll and to the NCAA Div. II All-Tournament Team as a junior and earned third team all-region honors as a senior.
A native of Camillus, N.Y., Anderson competed in soccer and lacrosse at West Genesee High, winning a state title in lacrosse as a senior. She currently is pursuing her master’s degree in sport management at the College.
