Liz Beville begins her first season as an assistant coach on the Red Dragon women’s lacrosse staff in 2016. Beville previously served as an assistant coach for the Muhlenberg College women’s lacrosse team during the 2014-15 academic year, where she helped guide the Mules to a 9-7 record and their first-ever home conference playoff game.
A 2014 graduate of Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in physical education, Beville was a four-year member of the Red Dragon women’s lacrosse team as a midfielder. She was a team captain, earned the team’s Red Letter Award and selected as a member of the SUNYAC All-Academic Team as a senior. During her career, Cortland went unbeaten at home and advanced to four consecutive NCAA Div. III “final fours.”
Beville, who is pursuing her master’s degree in sport management at the College, competed in lacrosse and basketball at Jamesville-DeWitt (N.Y.) High School.
